Flow MCN Privacy Policy

Flow MCN is an internal application operated by our company to manage YouTube channels in our network. This policy explains what we collect when someone connects a YouTube channel, how we use it, and how to revoke access.

1. Data we receive from Google / YouTube

When a channel owner authorizes Flow MCN, we request read-only OAuth scopes and may store:

• YouTube channel ID, title, and thumbnail
• Public and Analytics metrics (views, watch time, subscribers, and similar)
• Estimated revenue and related monetary Analytics (if the account is the brand owner and YouTube provides them)
• An encrypted OAuth refresh token so we can refresh data without asking the owner to sign in every day

We do not request scopes to upload, edit, comment, or delete YouTube videos.

2. Other data in the app

Staff accounts (name, role, login) are created by our admins. Login uses our own username/password, not Google Sign-In for staff. Channel assignment and revenue-share settings are entered by our team.

3. How we use the data

• Show dashboards, tracking, and reports to authorized staff
• Sync Analytics periodically so numbers stay current
• Calculate internal net revenue using our configured share percent

We do not sell YouTube data. We do not use it for advertising. We do not share it with third parties except infrastructure we already use to run the app (database and hosting under our control).

4. Storage and security

Data is stored in our production database. OAuth refresh tokens are encrypted at rest (AES-256-GCM). Access inside Flow MCN is limited by role (admin / manager / staff).

5. Retention

Channel metrics and tokens stay while the channel remains linked for our operations. If a channel is unlinked or a staff account is removed, we stop new syncs and may delete or anonymize records according to our internal process.

6. How to revoke YouTube access

The channel owner can revoke Flow MCN at any time in their Google Account:

After revoke, our refresh token stops working and we cannot pull new Analytics.
